    New for 2020, The Historic Lighthouse Collection

    Our team at ARCH & ORDER is pleased to announce the official launch of our Historic Lighthouse Architectural Print Collection. 

    The ARCH & ORDER office affords us a stunning view of the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego. After a scouting trip up to it's setting at Cabrillo State Park, we were inspired to research the availability of measured drawings. We were happy to find a robust collection of well researched plans in the public realm. In the summer of 2019 our design team began preliminary efforts, and the result was an initial run of 15 subjects, located on the East and West Coasts of the United States. You can even find a print of our initial inspiration in the collection.

    Similar to our DC and State Capitol Collections, each design is offered in one of 6 colorways (white, black, blue, green, red, and lavender). Additionally each design is offered in framed or print only variants. 

    Our framed prints are offered on our Enhanced Matte Art (EMA) premium-quality heavyweight paper. This 200gsm museum quality paper is sourced exclusively from Hahnemühle in Germany, the world’s most renowned paper maker and supplied directly to our American and UK print labs. Our print process provides exceptional tonality and renders sharp details with consistency. Each frame is handmade by one of our Guild recognized framers and created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin white, black, or natural finish. we use a thick 1.4mm window mount cut from premium, textured mount board. All mounts are "conservation grade", FSC certified, 100% acid free, and will not discolor or fade with age.
    If you elect to source your own framing, our German Etching Print versions are the perfect option. Hahnemühle German Etching paper is known worldwide for its velvety matte surface that is optimized for high-contrast prints and works brilliantly for our architectural designs. The paper has a warm white hue providing a perfect surface for reproducing our carefully selected colorways.
