Our team atARCH & ORDERis pleased to announce the official launch of our State Capitol Building Architectural Print Collection.
At launch the collection featured measured drawings from Texas, Georgia, Maryland, Alabama, and Independence Hall in Philadelphia. In the coming months we hope to grow this collection to cover every state capitol building and associated historic government buildings from around the United States.
Similar to our DC and Lighthouse Collections, each design is offered in one of 6 colorways (white, black, blue, green, red, and lavender). Additionally each design is offered in framed or print only variants.
Our framed printsare offered on our Enhanced Matte Art (EMA) premium-quality heavyweight paper. This 200gsm museum quality paper is sourced exclusively from Hahnemühle in Germany, the world’s most renowned paper maker and supplied directly to our American and UK print labs. Our print process provides exceptional tonality and renders sharp details with consistency. Each frame is handmade by one of our Guild recognized framers and created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin white, black, or natural finish. we use a thick 1.4mm window mount cut from premium, textured mount board. All mounts are "conservation grade", FSC certified, 100% acid free, and will not discolor or fade with age.
If you elect to source your own framing, our German Etching Print versions are the perfect option. Hahnemühle German Etching paper is known worldwide for its velvety matte surface that is optimized for high-contrast prints and works brilliantly for our architectural designs. The paper has a warm white hue providing a perfect surface for reproducing our carefully selected colorways.

Print Only: The indicated size is the print size (for instance 16"x12" is exactly 16"x12".)
Framed Prints: The indicated size references the approximate dimensions of the print and mat (excluding the 3/4" wide frame). To get the total dimension of one of our framed prints add 1" to each dimension (for instance a 16"x12" indicated framed print is actually 17"x13" in total size). The prints contained in our framed prints are scaled down versions (to account for the presence of the mat) compared to the similarly sized print only version. So for reference, a 32"x24" print only version contains a slightly larger print that the 32"x24" framed version which contains a 28"x20" print and 2" mat.
